,No one here should discuss sorority reputations, and certainly not name names, because frankly with over 200 girls in each house you really cant pigeonhole them that way. Usually nice girls, not a ton of super pretty girls though. Pi Phi and Tri Delt are usually pretty strong up there as well. Despite their relatively low profile, Alpha Chi Omegas are considered down-to-earth and genuine. Then there are houses that are true gems that dont rely old reputation, but work on building a stronger and stronger sisterhood. Also they have the majority of UT cheerleaders. AXID is last. The only reason a girl wants to join KD is because ADPi is her other choice. Think of them as the Betty Suarez, or even the Amanda Tanen, of sororities (for you Ugly Betty fans). Care about money, looks, and highschool GPA. As long as you realize that the average frat guy is not out for meaningful relationships (especially freshman and sophomore years) the better chance you have at not falling prey to the you are so special garbage. I was blessed for 2 years to travel around the country and spend time with sorority girls in 30 states and numerous chapters. It's different at all schools, but at my school were known as being the funnest sorority to party with and we have the best sisterhood. Pi Beta Phi isn't always like that, I know someone who is very nice and outgoing who is in Pi Beta Phi . Sorority recruitment at UT is EXTREMELY competitive. Fraternity members consider DZ girls a lot of fun. No matter what sorority it is you'll find beautiful women inside and out that want to achieve great things. Usually gives a few COBs.

Surely different schools will have different stereotypes for what each sorority is like based on the local population. Chi O, Delta Zeta, Alpha Phi, and Alpha Chi Omega were pretty accurate according to the different campuses I have visited. They can be really snobby to girls on the first day. Well I'd just like to start off by saying, it is never too late to join a sorority! Chi O is a good chapter. Girls that drop rather than be in these houses are making a big mistake. Sisterhood is not a competition!! Look past the make up/money/chapter stereotype. I'd say Chi O is more top tier and Pi Phi is universal top tier. Ask past and current members, and even people who rushed but did not join for whatever reason, about their opinion of a sorority.
